Mushrooms aren’t vegetables.. they are edible fungus and are packed with nutrients! One portabella mushroom contains more potassium than a banana or glass of orange juice. They are also a great source of selenium as well as three B vitamins: riboflavin, niacin, and pantothenic acid.
This delicious recipe can be made using a variety of mushrooms – portabella, shiitake, oyster, chanterelle, crimini or porcini. Each type of mushroom has it’s own unique flavor the mushroom to your liking.
Here’s a list of ingredients you’ll need: Olive Oil, White Onion, Celery, Carrots, White Mushrooms, Chicken Broth, Half and Half, Flour, Thyme, Black Pepper, and Wild Rice
