THE STRIDES IN SCIENCE GALA IS POSTPONED UNTIL 2020
We have made the difficult decision to postpone our charity gala for incredible reasons we’d love to share with you! First, the research we are working to fund has made HUGE strides in their medical discoveries for brain cancer, and they continue to make additional discoveries for neck down cancers. These discoveries are so profound that we are now waiting until these findings are patented and published so we can share them with the world. This will not only help us raise more awareness, but additional funds allowing us to help move this research forward faster.
Additionally, our founder Tracy Ryan has just executed an agreement for her own podcast that will be produced by a radio legend and backed by an incredible on-air talent for one of the largest radio conglomerates in the country. Tracy will be interviewing celebrity guests, and brilliant minds in the world of cannabis medicine and research. She will be using this podcast to promote our event, raise additional funds for research and continue on her path to legalization of this medicinal plant by educating the masses.
Thank you so much to the Loews Hotel, all of our sponsors, and ticket holders who have ALL decided to continue to support us in the move of this date, and stay tuned for updates on what the new date will be.

She has fought bravely using many holistic remedies like medical cannabis that her loving husband Amazon John Easterling has grown and produced into oil for her.
Together these two incredible individuals have made it part of their life’s work to advocate for this plant on a global scale, all while raising money for Olivia’s cancer charity the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Center in Melbourne.
THE VANGUARD AWARD
Joshua Crossney CEO & Founder of CSC Events, LLC.
Joshua Crossney is being honored with the Vanguard Award for his excellence in driving forth the medical cannabis message by assembling the top voices in the world through his bi-coastal conferences and global advocacy.
Joshua is the CEO & Founder of CSC Events, LLC., which hosts and operates the world’s largest semi-annual Cannabis Science Conference, including a Canna Boot Camp (a full-day, hands-on workshop that covers many aspects of cannabis science). Additionally, Joshua is the organizer of an annual, full-day Analytical Cannabis Symposium at PITTCON, one of the world’s largest analytical science conferences.
Joshua Crossney is also the President & Founder of jCanna, Inc., (www.jCanna.com) a 501(c)3 non-profit organization devoted to the advancement of cannabis science, analytical testing, and personalized (precision) medicine. Joshua has a background in analytical science recruiting and event planning. He is doing his best to bridge the gap between analytical sciences and the medical cannabis industry to help improve the quality of medicinal cannabis products being used by patients. The lack of unified methods and standards for contamination and potency in cannabis testing and the fact that some states don’t even require QC/QA testing for their medical cannabis programs was very troubling to Joshua. This led him to found jCanna. Joshua is especially passionate about helping pediatric cannabis patients suffering from debilitating illnesses.

THE FACES BEHIND THE RESEARCH
CURRENTLY, THERE ARE 14 CANNABIS PATIENTS ENROLLED IN OUR TRIALS AND ARE PRESENTLY ADDING MORE!
THE RESEARCH + CANNABIS
• THE RESEARCH FOCUSES ON THE EXPRESSION OF NATURAL KILLER CELLS, A SUBSET OF IMMUNE CELLS THAT KILL THE MOST AGGRESSIVE FORMS OF CANCERS KNOWN AS CANCER STEM CELLS.
• ACTUAL TUMOR CELLS FROM SOPHIE RYAN AND ADDITIONAL PATIENTS WHO ARE USING CANNABIS ALONGSIDE WESTERN MEDICINE ARE BEING STUDIED EXTENSIVELY DUE TO THEIR TUMOR SHRINKAGE.
• THE STUDY USES RARE MICE REFERRED TO AS HUMANIZED MICE, WHICH HAVE BLOOD CELLS THAT ACT AS HUMAN IMMUNE SYSTEM CELLS WITH A 90% RECONSTRUCTION MATCH TO THAT OF HUMAN CELLS.
• YOUR SUPPORT WILL ALLOW US TO CONTINUE OUR MISSION TO SUPPORT PEDIATRIC CANCER, EXPOSE THE TRUE SCIENCE BEHIND CANNABIS, AND HELP THOSE SUFFERING FROM THIS PUNISHING DISEASE!
