Did you know that about only half of Americans enjoy eating spicy foods? That is considerably less than other areas of the world, which consider chili peppers and other spices a staple in their diet. Spicy foods also happen to be one of the best things for your health. They have capsaicin, which has been found to prevent many chronic diseases including cancer. It has been suggested that our bodies love the spicy flavor because its healthy for us.

Capsaicin has literally been shown to activate cell receptors in your intestinal lining, creating a reaction that significantly lowers the chances of a tumor developing. Capsaicin has both anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties making it a very promising anti-cancer treatment. Spicy foods have also been shown to help your body burn more calories and also helping you feel full with less food. These foods and spices are also very easy to grow at home, even indoors.
