You might’ve heard of Matcha Green Tea, but have you heard about its metabolism-enhancing, stress-reducing, immune-boosting, cholesterol-lowering, kick butt cancer fighting properties?

Humans have been drinking green tea for more than 1000 years. Zen Buddhist monks famously consume the drink to remain calm, alert and focussed during long hours of meditation.

Traditionally matcha green tea leaves have a higher chlorophyll content than other plants or tea leaves. This is beneficial because the higher chlorophyll content means more antioxidants! One cup of matcha tea has as many antioxidants as about 10 cups of regular tea. That’s a lot of free-radical fighting antioxidant power!
